We found out on New Years Eve Eve with a surprise positive pregnancy test. And yes my husband made me take another to see the results come to the screen for himself :) Although we do understand how babies are made it was still a shock for us. I hear all these stories about couples taking months and years to get pregnant...so my immediate results of a positive pregnancy were not what I was expecting. I feel very fortunate that we were able to get pregnant so easily and to be blessed with a beautiful baby.
I had my first doctor appointment on 1/11/11. The due date is officially set (for now) as 9/1/11. 1 1/2 months down....7 1/2 to go :)
The nausea official hit last Friday. NOTHING sounds good to eat (I never thought I'd say that). While it's been a challenge I'm powering through. I've found a staple of about 3-4 things I know I can stomach.
My next appointment is on 1/18 and I get an ultrasound so I'm very excited.
